Sonic The Hedgehog in Super Smash Bros. Brawl
game: Super Smash Bros. Brawl
news | 10/10/07 | Chris Martin
Several poorly doctored videos have been circulating the interweb regarding the blue blur\'s inclusion in Super Smash Bros. Brawl. But today, according to Gemaga\'s Live Blog, and then re-reported by 1UP, Nintendo has rolled a new trailer for Super Smash Bros. Brawl with Sonic the Hedgehog \"jumping, spinning, and even turning into Super Sonic.\" I think Nintendo just sold another ten million Wii...

That\'s seven (count them, Seven!) Metal Slug games for about ten (10!) bucks cheaper than one fully priced game. With updated controls meant specifically for the Wii, what else could you ask for? Viva Pinata Review
game: Viva Pinata
review | 01/25/07 | Chris Martin
With Viva Pinata, Rare has produced their first truly standout game since going to bat for Microsoft. The pinata-rearing simulation may look like a child\'s game, but it turns out to be one of the most addictive and deep games to ever grace the Xbox 360. Reminiscent of simulation and collection titles like The Sims and Animal Crossing, Viva Pinata is open and never ending, addictive and compelling, and one of the best games of the year. Because of its unusual style it\'ll never have a fan base the size of games like Gears of War, and most Xboxers will probably never buy a copy even though they almost certainly should. Read the full review for details on what makes this game so great.

Street Fighter Alpha Anthology Review: All the Street Fighting You Could Ever Want
game: Street Fighter Alpha Anthology
review | 08/14/06 | Amanda Bateman
Old school fighting game fans, get your thumbs ready. The Street Fighter Alpha series has been bundled into one convenient package and adapted for the PS2. But is that enough for the classic 2D side-scrolling fighter to grab and hold your interest? The anthology offers a great classic arcade feel, but the gameplay of Street Fighter has been copied enough times over the years that the fighting is, sadly, nothing special anymore. If you\'re a fan of the past, this is a great collection, as collections go, but it stands as a reminder of how far fighting games have come over the years.

Sonic The Hedgehog Preview
game: Sonic The Hedgehog
preview | 05/19/06 | RJ Brooks
Both the Xbox 360 and PS3 versions of Sonic contained the same features and levels. The difference between the games is where one would expect it to be-the graphics. However, the version with the best graphics is not the \"powerhouse\" PlayStation 3. Our man, Rob, runs down how the first next-gen Sonic title is coming along, and finds one of the most grievous examples of PS3 comparing unfavorably with the Xbox 360.

game: Sonic Blast
review | 02/19/06 | Tristan Mayshark
Sonic the Hedgehog and Knuckles have come to us in the form of a brightly colored controller that connects to your TV and offers 15 different kinds of pain and suffering to users. Sonic Blast is a far cry from the quality and breadth we\'ve come to expect in our plug-and-play TV games. For now, stick with the products that look like a real Genesis controller, and limit your experience with Sonic Blast to reading our review.

Sex in Video Games Conference This Summer
news | 01/12/06 | Shawn Rider
The Sex in Video Games Conference will be held in San Francisco June 8-9 at the Nob Hill Masonic Center, San Francisco, CA. The conference theme is \"Exploring the Business of Digital Erotic Entertainment,\" which sounds totally not sexy to us. But the conference gains clout thanks to the involvement of Brenda Brathwaite, Game Designer and Founder and Chair of the International Game Developers Association\'s Sexuality SIG. If you\'ve got a vested (read: business) interest in the future of adult erotic interactive entertainment, then this is the place to go. It should be more scandalous than E3.
